Update at 16 Months Old

These are the things I've been doing in the past weeks:
  • I went to the dentist for the first time because of this black thing my parents saw behind my upper front tooth. It was just something stuck almost underneath my gum, hard to get out, and I even bled when the dentist scraped it off. But I'm fine now.

  • My mommy takes me to the library where I love playing with the other kids there, watching the fountains, and touching the aquarium. I say "ish" instead of "fish" when I see them swim by.

  • I say "key" for "cookies," which is what I love asking for!

  • I love watching "The Wiggles" because of all the singing and dancing that's on the show. I can even do some of their dance moves during the songs. I can bow, turn around, quack my arms like a duck, do their tiger move with my arm, and say the words, "puff, puff, wheee!"

  • Whenever mommy holds Dodger, I get so excited because I finally get to touch my white dog, who usually runs away from me when I approach him. I'll poke him and laugh everytime, and sometimes I'll even bury my head in his soft white fur. Dodger looks absolutely panicked whenever I do this. It cracks my parents up.

  • Now that I can bow, if you bow to me, I'll bow back. My grandparents love this, especially since bowing is the Korean way of greeting one another, so they're always asking me to bow.

  • You can ask me questions with words I know, and I'll respond by shaking my head no, or smiling/squealing, which means yes.

  • My dad loves to play in the house by shooting around basketballs, pitching balls, and batting balls, and I'll always copy whatever he's doing.
