Disneyland

We came back from Hawaii a week ago, but it has just been so busy here since we've returned. Something happening almost everyday. For instance...I just went to Disneyland for the first time several days ago! It was so crazy... my daddy's work was having an event there, so we decided last minute to go because it would be free. We didn't get there until 5:30 pm because we had to wait until daddy got home from work. Here is what we did:
  • We only went on 3 rides: Pirates, Snow White, and Peter Pan. The lines were so long everywhere!

  • I was a bit scared on Pirates. I got real quiet and clung to mommy. Whenever the cannons shot, I jumped a bit. But the ride was so long and it stopped several times, so I ended up falling asleep in the latter half!

  • I was a little alarmed on Snow White, with all the twisting and the darkness.

  • I liked Peter Pan a lot because of all the twinkling lights! That's one of my parents' favorite rides.

  • I was getting real tired by 8 pm, but my parents wanted me to see Fantasmic and the 50th anniversary fireworks (they wanted to see it, too!). When Fantasmic started, I was amazed by all the lights and water, but then I actually fell asleep in the second half!

  • I LOVED the fireworks show that came after Fantasmic. It was so beautiful. I kept clapping throughout the show and pointing at the sky. People around me told my mommy I was so cute. :)

I was SO tired when I came home, and so were my parents, but it was fun. I can't wait until I'm older and can actually enjoy the rides more! We didn't take too many pictures because we weren't there too long...

Honolulu, Hawaii 2005!

We've been back for a week now from our trip to Oahu. It was beautiful and crowded and fun! We stayed at Outrigger Waikiki, right on the beach. I went with my parents, Grandma and Grandpa Song, and Grandma Koo (Grandpa Koo had to work... sad). We were there for 6 days. Here is a summary of our trip:

  • We ate yummy food for every meal for everyday, and I never ate as much as I did on this trip. I ate more pineapples than my mom, which is a lot (they were SO sweet).

  • Because Hawaii is 3 hours behind CA time, my schedule was thrown off everyday. I would wake up every hour starting at 5 am, crash for several hours in the afternoon, and be SO tired at night.

  • We went swimming almost everyday. At first, I got a little saltwater up my nose which I didn't like at all, and I didn't want to go back in the ocean, but then I got used to it and liked it a lot!

  • I did try to eat sand several times. I loved playing with it.

  • We didn't rent a car but walked around a lot because everything was so accessible. I loved looking at everything surrounding us. It all looked so busy and fun.

  • When we came back home, even though I was so tired, I was so excited to see Jolie and Dodger, and they were equally happy. They ran toward me and gave me kisses, and I jumped up and down on my knees and screamed and laughed. That made mommy so happy to see!

We all had a great time! It was a wonderful vacation with my family. I can't wait to go again! Beware... there are a LOT of pictures to look at.
